Vi ønsker å lage et produkt som skal gjøre det mulig å gro spiselige planter i sin egen bolig. Plantene skal gros ved hjelp av noe som heter hydroponisk dyrking. Vi har en beholder som plantene vokser i. Dette er beholderen som er fylt med vann. I denne beholderen har vi en boks som har næringen til plantene. Denne boksen er koblet til pumper og sensorer som vil gjøre produktet veldig brukervennlig.

We wish to make a product that ensures the possibility to grow edible plants in your own home. The plants will be growing with the help of something called hydroponic cultivation. We have a container where the plants grow inside. This is the container that is filled with water. In this container we have a box in the bottom that has all the nutrients for the plants. This box is connected to pumps and sensors that will make the product user-friendly.
Hva er egentlig hydroponisk planting?
Hydroponi er når du gror plantene dine i vann i stede for i jord (Arnes. H, 2020). For å kunne bruke denne metoden er det viktig å finne en måte du kan tilføre plantene dine med næring, dette er nødvendig fordi vann ikke inneholder næring naturlig. Man kan tilføye plantene med næring på forskjellige måter. Vi har valgt å lage en blanding av forskjellige matrester som skal blandes med Bokashi frø, og dette vil bli næringen til plantene. Det er også viktig å tilføye vannet rikt med oksygen. Dette må man for at plantene dine skal kunne utføre celleånding, slik at de videre kan gro (Pedersen. B, 2020).

To be implement this method, it is important to find a way to give your plants nutrients, this is necessary because tap water does not naturally contain nutrients. There are many ways provide plants with nutrients. We have chosen a mixture of various kinds of food waste that when mixed with Bokashi seeds, become nutrients. It is also important to give the water plenty of oxygen. This is important for cell respiration, so that plants can continue to grow (Pedersen. B, 2020).
